TrainerTab handles the scheduling and the invoices so your trainer can spend their time teaching. Here's what it means for you.
How it works
1. You book a time
Your tutor sends you their booking link. Pick a service, pick a slot, and add your child's details. No account needed — you're just filling in a form.
2. You get a confirmation
Once the tutor approves the booking, we email you the date, time and address, plus a calendar invite. Reminders follow before the session.
3. You pay after the session
Nothing is charged up front. The tutor confirms the session happened, and only then do we send the invoice. You pay by card from the email.
What it costs
Your trainer sets their own price and receives all of it. Two fees are added on top of that price, and both are shown before you pay:
A TrainerTab service fee of 2.5%, never more than $1 per invoice.
The card processing fee charged by Stripe — 2.9% plus 30¢.
On a $50 session that comes to about $52.84 in total. The exact figure appears on the booking page before you book, and again on the invoice.
Common questions
Do I need to create an account?
No, and there is no password to remember. Booking a session creates your account automatically. To sign in later, enter your email and we send you a link that logs you straight in.
What is autopay?
If you save a card, we can charge it automatically when an invoice is raised, so neither of you has to think about payment again. It is optional, it is per trainer, and you can switch it off at any time from your account.
What if we need to cancel?
Cancel from your account or from the reminder email. Each trainer sets their own cancellation window and late-cancellation charge, and both are shown on their booking page and on the cancel screen before you confirm.
Can I stop the emails?
You can turn off session reminders, payment receipts and product news from your email preferences. Invoices, payment failures and booking confirmations always send — they are the record of what you owe and when your sessions are.
Who do I contact about a session?
Your trainer. TrainerTab handles the booking and the billing, not the teaching — their email address is on every message we send you. For a problem with a payment or the site itself, write to [email protected].
